The GLOCK 17 Gen 5 accepts common 12 gram non-threaded CO2, which is housed in the 17-round drop-free magazine and shoots steel BBs at 300 FPS. 4 adapter plates are included. The optic mounting footprints are: Docter (M3), Trijicon (6-32 UNC), C-More (8-32 UNC), and Leupold (M4). Optics known to work with this air pistol: Umarex RDS8, Triicon SRO, Trijicon RMR, Vortex Viper.
